This free information session will walk you through the admission requirements, explain the structure of the CPA program, and how to connect with employers in the accounting sector. Special guest speakers from BC settlement agencies ISSofBC, MOSAIC, and S.U.C.C.E.S.S. will present on their resources for newcomers (recent PR status) in BC for financial assistance, free mentorship, and career counselling services to help you attain your goals in becoming a CPA.

This series brings career seekers into the workplaces of CPAs across range of industries and employer, from public practice and finance to government, healthcare, tech, and beyond. Each webinar features designated CPAs sharing their personal journeys, the roles they’ve stepped into, and the impact they’re making within their organizations. Through candidate conversations, you’ll learn why they chose the CPA path, how they navigated the designation process, and what it’s really like to work as a CPA in different sectors. Attend our free Q&A session with CPABC staff who can answer your questions. This session is suitable for prospective learners who are not yet enrolled in the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP).
